Community Life (CL) is The Community Builders (TCB)'s place-based model that uses healthy and stable housing as a platform for connecting our residents to services, community resources and opportunities so they can thrive. By creating programs and building strategic partnerships with residents and local stakeholders, Community Life helps create pathways to opportunities in early education, economic mobility, youth development, community engagement, voting registration, healthy living, and resident leadership.
The Director of Community Life (CL), Boston leads the CL strategic priorities at TCB’s Boston properties, supervising CL Service Coordinators and Managers and overseeing all aspects of Community Life operational excellence. The Director of CL, Boston collaborates with other TCB departments including Property Management, Fund Development and Real Estate Development teams and provides written and verbal content expertise in areas such as community engagement, trauma-informed practices and leadership development.
Under the direct supervision of the Senior Director of Community Life, the Director will perform the following roles and responsibilities:
